Elmira (Ellie) creates whimsical and vibrant picture books both digitally and traditionally. Working in children’s book literature for has been a lifelong dream. It is what made her pursue art and is something that keeps her inspired to this day.
Ellie believes some of the most profound and touching stories can be told through this medium, with simple and clear messages that children can carry with them for the rest of their lives.Â

Sarah Smith
Clinial Hypnotherapist and Psychologist (DSFH, HPD)
Sarah has worked in the wellbeing industry for over 20 years, and during this time has helped countless people overcome the things that were holding them back. With two children herself, she understands the importance of addressing issues experienced by young people swiftly, and in the right way.Â
Sarah has worked with Mandy to create dedicated activities for Harmony Dances On, to support children in understanding their feelings, and giving them a space to express themselves. Outside of her profession, Sarah enjoys painting and drawing.Â

Suzanne Gould
Teacher/Director
Suzanne trained as a primary school teacher many moons ago and has worked in different local nurseries and schools. She loves working with early years children but decided to share her knowledge by setting up an early years training company during lockdown.
Mandy and Suzanne became close friends when their children attended the same primary school and they worked together in a local nursery for many years.
Between the two of them, they have probably read every children’s book going! It was a natural progression for Suzanne to join Mandy’s team. Suzanne loves sitting at her kitchen table with a cuppa discussing the stories and imagining the characters coming to life! As a teacher, Mum, and Grandma, Suzanne often reads Mandy’s books to children.

Helen Muir
Ambassador, Maggie's Cancer Care at Royal Free
Helen is the Fundraising Manager at Maggie’s Royal Free, which is the 24th and newest centre at Maggie’s. Helen has been working at Maggie’s for over 7 years in fundraising, ensuring that Maggie’s centres continue to stay open and are there for anyone affected by cancer. All the support is free and no appointment is needed so visitors can drop in whenever they need support. Helen loves working at Maggie’s, talking to visitors, supporters and the different challenges each day brings. One day she will be organising an abseil off the Leadenhall Building in London and the next cheering on runners at the London Marathon (as a fundraiser they are always praying for good weather!).
“We are so delighted to work with Mandy on Bertie and The Garden of Wonders. It is such a beautiful book about friendship, bravery and loyalty and we are so thrilled that the book is supporting our cancer centre. Mandy’s books explain different emotions and situations to children in a beautiful way, and we are so pleased to have them in our centre library for when families visit us.”
Outside of work Helen spends most of her time with friends and family, playing netball, paddle (a very new hobby!) and travelling/holidays when she can.
Amy Beth
Executive Assistant
As Mandy’s books grow more and more popular, Amy has been brought on board to manage the behind-the-scenes side of being an author. Whether that’s managing social media content and replying to emails, or handling partnership opportunities and planning events, Amy helps support Mandy while she creates her beautiful stories.Â
Amy is a firm supporter of charities, working full time for Alzheimer’s Society to help them build partnerships within the health and social care landscape. In her free time, she loves to go for beach walks with her son, and snuggle up on the sofa with her cat and a good book.
